Access Windows XP in Windows7

Hi friends. Presently everyone is mostly using windows 7 and many more latest versions. But still some people were using windows xp .Even many gadgets like printers, scanners and many more were only capable with these windows versions (Windows Vista, Windows XP, 2000). For them here is the solution for using windows XP in Windows 7 Versions (Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate)

 Check capability of your system:

· Firstly you need to verify weather your PC is capable for the Windows Virtual PC or not. For that you need to install the HAV-Detection Tool (Hardware-Assisted Virtualization Detection Tool) from here and check your capability.

· Then refer the HAV Detection Tool - User Guide.

  • If you find This computer is configured with hardware-assisted virtualization then your system is capable to run windows virtual PC and windows xp mode.

  • If you find “There is no hardware-assisted virtualization support in the system” then your CPU is not supported by HAV .Even you can run Windows Virtual PC in your system. But it is much better if HAV is enabled.
  • If you find “Hardware-assisted virtualization is disabled” that means there is settings problem in Basic input/output system (BIOS) to turn on HAV .Procedure to turn on virtualization settings in your computer's BIOS vary depending on the BIOS manufacturer. Better to refer your computer manufacturer’s website.
Note: Better to get back of changing the BIOS settings by you take technician's help.
If everything goes fine then continue the process.
Install Windows Xp using Windows Virtual PC:
Firstly validate your PC by downloading and verifying Genuine validation and then enter the code in the validation column. Based on your PC capability download Windows XP Mode .Now visit download Windows virtual PC either 64-bit or 32-bit depending up to your PC .
Now first install Windows virtual pc and then install Windows XP mode application. In this way you can get access to Windows XP directly in a new pop-up screen.
For more clear details visit Windows Microsoft official page.

Windows Virtual PC Vs Other Virtual Applications?
Windows Virtual PC is mainly created for Windows users so it will provide best performance and there is no chance of installing other operating systems using this Windows Virtual PC. Where we come’s to other Virtual Applications we can install use any OS but we must need the full version of particular OS I mean to say with key. In this case for this Windows Virtual PC no need of extra OS.
